Five things I have learnt from researching films:
- How credits look/ should look and how they can set the mood of a film.
- Different colours can represent different things and they can also change the mood of a film, this is also the same with lighting in a film, for example if there is not much lighting and it is dark it could make the film feel scary or mysterious etc.
- If a character in a film does something different to the other characters or has something wrong with them they tend to stick out, different characters are often given different backgrounds before filming begins.
- The plot of the film changes everything and could affect the whole out come of the film and the mood/audience for the final film.
- Different camera angles/ shots/ techniques look better than others for different pieces of footage, for example a low angled camera shot looking up at a character could make them look more powerful as they look big and appear to the audience to be standing over them. This would also change the mood of the clip/the final film.
