RESEARCH-OUTCOME

Five things I have learnt from researching films:

  1. How credits look/ should look and how they can set the mood of a film.

  1. Different colours can represent different things and they can also change the mood of a film, this is also the same with lighting in a film, for example if there is not much lighting and it is dark it could make the film feel scary or mysterious etc.

  1. If a character in a film does something different to the other characters or has something wrong with them they tend to stick out, different characters are often given different backgrounds before filming begins.

  1. The plot of the film changes everything and could affect the whole out come of the film and the mood/audience for the final film.

  1. Different camera angles/ shots/ techniques look better than others for different pieces of footage, for example a low angled camera shot looking up at a character could make them look more powerful as they look big and appear to the audience to be standing over them. This would also change the mood of the clip/the final film.
